A Year in the Cutting Garden…
Saturday 11 September 2010
***** This event has now finished *****
This inspiring and practical workshop will be lead by former head gardener at Perch Hill, Bea Andrews. Perch Hill you’ll recall is Sarah Raven’s wonderful garden in East Sussex, where Sarah and Bea created the ‘bold and beautiful’ cutting gardens that have inspired several books.
Bea will suggest the best plants for cut flower arrangements (annuals, biennials, perennials and shrubs), discuss timetables, nurturing for the best blooms, and staking – and of course, inspire us with colour!
Cost: £60 – to include a delicious lunch, a glass of wine and refreshments.
Special deal: book this workshop plus our visit to Perch Hill on Wednesday 1 September, for £80 per person
The workshop will start at 10.30am and finish at 3.30pm.
Location: Meet at The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT.
