All you need to know about roses!

Passionate about roses, but need to know more? Rose expert Simon White of Peter Beales nursery in Norfolk is endlessly enthusiastic and so knowledgeable, we look forward to welcoming him back to the GH for the third time!

Simon will take us on a visual journey through the A-Z of roses, plus give practical demonstrations on how to plant roses to avoid disease; how to grow roses in containers and pots; how to propagate roses; and how to prune climbers and ramblers. He will also give advice, with handouts, on pruning other types of roses at different times of the year.

We know how important it is to learn these skills, so you will have a chance to get ‘hands-on’ and practice the skills demonstrated.

Simon is also offering a special deal for those attending the workshop: £5 for any bare-root rose from the Peter Beales catalogue, to be delivered in November.

Cost: £60 (or for two booking together, £50 each person) – to include a delicious home-made lunch and refreshments.

One-day workshop 10.30am until approx. 3.30pm. Places are limited so do contact us as soon as possible.
