Botany workshop: intricacies of Garden Flowers

Experienced lecturer in horticulture Julie Hollobone, will introduce gardeners to the basics of plant structure – a truly fascinating subject for anyone passionate about plants, especially flowers!
It will be a hands-on course, carefully slicing up flowers to discover nature’s seemingly endless variety while also finding out how the different structures are involved in pollination and fertilisation, through to seed and fruit formation.
This workshop will be particularly interesting and helpful to all students studying horticulture, as well as keen amateurs.
Cost: £60 (or £55 each for two booking together) to include delicious lunch with a glass of wine.
Workshop will start at 10.30pm and finish at approx. 4.30pm. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
