Wednesday 21 November 2018

***** This event has now finished *****

Right plant, right place! We are delighted to again invite Annie Guilfoyle to the Garden House.  An inspirational garden designer, and an experienced tutor (Annie was formerly director of Garden Design at KLC School of Design at Hampton Court Palace), she also runs gardening-related courses at West Dean College near Chichester.

Annie regularly writes articles about different aspects of garden design in Gardens Illustrated magazine.  Her design studio Creative Landscapes is based in West Sussex www.creative-landscapes.com

For this workshop Annie will focus on Planting Plans.  With Annie guiding you through the principles of good planting, the day will include researching the correct plants for your garden and how to do this efficiently, using a ‘right plant right place’ approach.  You will be shown how to draw a scaled planting plan, including elevations and visuals, to help make sure your plan fulfils the brief and is balanced. There will be lecture, demo and workshop elements to the day.

You will need to bring a scaled plan (1:50) of your garden or the beds that you wish to design.

Date: Wednesday 21 November 2018 – 10am-4.30pm

Cost: £105 to include refreshments and vegetarian lunch. The workshop is limited to 10 participants so do book a place early to avoid disappointment.

BOOK ONLINE NOW. If you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

Venue: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT
