Day trip to Woolbeding Gardens, Midhurst…

Friday 20 April 2012

***** This event has now finished *****

Join us on our day trip to Woolbeding Gardens at Midhurst, West Sussex. This 20th-century garden has only recently opened to the public following a period of restoration, and is described by The National Trust as a “truly spectacular and most unusual garden”, whose features include a Chinese bridge, a lake and waterfalls…

Stephen Lacey writing in The Telegraph says “West Sussex’s best-kept secret, the 26-acre garden at Woolbeding, near Midhurst, fully opened to the public for the first time in its nearly 40 years of development.”

We’ll be leaving Brighton by coach at 12.45, returning around 5.45pm.

The cost of £28 per person (£22 for National Trust members) covers transport, plus refreshments at the first garden, and entry to the garden.  More details to follow!
