Designing with Plants at the Sussex Prairies Garden

The Garden House are delighted to join Paul and Pauline McBride at the dramatic Sussex Prairies Garden for a day’s focus on Designing with Plants – an exploration of what makes for dream partnerships – looking at colour, shape, texture and architectural forms of plants.

The day will begin at 10.30 with coffee and homemade cake and then Paul will take us on a tour around the garden closely looking at plants that work well together, and why they are successful combinations.   We will also have a slide show to look at images of plants that look good together throughout the year.

After lunch and a glass of wine you will have time to investigate what you consider to be perfect plant combinations and, together with the help of the experts, handouts and other articles, make some suggestions for your own garden or project and make a simple planting plan to take home with you.

Cost: £50 to include tea/coffee/cake and lunch with a glass of wine.
