Garden Design Workshop with Annie Guilfoyle

Thursday 12 July 2018

***** This event has now finished *****

SORRY, THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL! We are delighted to again invite Annie Guilfoyle to the Garden House.  An inspirational garden designer, and an experienced tutor (Annie was formerly director of Garden Design at KLC School of Design at Hampton Court Palace), she also runs gardening-related courses at West Dean College near Chichester.

Annie regularly writes articles about different aspects of garden design in Gardens Illustrated magazine.  Her design studio Creative Landscapes is based in West Sussex

The focus of the workshop will be how to make decisions about the layout of a new garden design or a revamp; how to balance soft landscaping (planting) and hard-landscaping; how to successfully transfer ideas from the Chelsea Flower Show (or similar) into your own garden.  There will be some hands-on practical exercises to illustrate some ideas to use in your own garden.

Cost: £85 to include workshop and supper. The workshop is limited to 10 participants so do book a place early to avoid disappointment.

BOOK ONLINE NOW. If you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

Annie will teach between 2.30 and 6.30, and then we will serve a vegetarian supper with wine in the garden, so the event will finish about 7.45 pm.

Venue: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT
