Intermediate Photography Workshop
Saturday 21 July 2012
Learn more about advanced camera techniques and photographing nature, such as aperture, macro (close-up), filters, colour theory and flash. We will aim for lots of practical work in the Garden House using the natural structures, patterns and summer plant colour.
There will be a review of images at the end of the day. This one day workshop is suitable for those who attended the Beginners Photography workshop in June or those who are at an intermediate level with their camera skills and wish to improve on a particular aspect of photography.
Bring your camera, a notebook, any additional lenses or other equipment you may like to try out and a tripod if you have one.
After many years developing her photographic skills at college and running a camera club, Laura established her photographic career in 2001, working both in the studio and on location. Since then she has taught photography at The Friends Centre in Brighton and Portslade Community Centre, and now provides a unique learning experience: ‘Fotos On Foot’ photography tours and classes.
Cost: £80 – to include a delicious light lunch and glass of wine. This is a daytime workshop starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm.
Location: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT.
