A practical and fun workshop where you will learn about harvesting medicinal plants, and how to make medicinal tinctures, syrups, tooth paste, decoctions and ointments.

Learn about the weeds that heal and make your own remedies. Take your health into your hands and learn how to use the herbs in a practical easy way.

The talk is led by Julia Behrens, a practising Medical Herbalist for over 10 years, with a degree in Herbal Medicine and a Diploma in therapeutic massage.  Julia has published work in the European Journal of Herbal Medicine, and for the WWF and Plantlife magazine.

As well as practising in Brighton, Julia runs short courses in herbal medicine and has also set up a community herb garden ‘Hedgehog Herbs’ www.herbal-consultant.com

Cost: £60 – to include a delicious homemade lunch and a glass of wine.

This workshop will start at 10.30pm and finish at approx. 3.30pm. Spaces are limited so please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
