Rag-rugging Workshop

SORRY, THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL…!  Join inspirational craftswoman Sue Samways for our evening workshop on the traditional craft of rag-rugging. This technique of turning unwanted textiles into hard-wearing decorative rugs or hangings has been used for hundreds of years, handed down through the generations.

Sue will show you how to transform scraps of fabric or used old clothing into colourful rag rugs. You don’t need to have a design in mind but if you do, Sue can help you interpret it.

Cost: £30 – to include nibbles and a glass of wine.

This is an evening workshop, starting at 6.15pm and finishing at 9pm. Come with a friend - spaces are limited so do book early!
