Want to do more for people and the planet but don’t know where to start? Confused by the contradictions of what is “environmentally friendly” and what isn’t?
This one day course will explain what sustainability is all about, and then focus on climate change and calculating your carbon footprint. It will also provide you with three examples where you can go green in your garden. The day will involve talks, discussion, activities and practical experience to help you integrate environmental issues into your life and, especially, your garden.
Karen Gardham is a sustainability consultant with over 10 years of experience of environmental policy development and cultural change. She has delivered award winning campaigns and policies which have not only served to communicate the importance of going green, but also saved valuable resources. Join Karen and Bridgette Saunders (of The Garden House), an organic gardening expert, and green your garden!
Cost: £60 – to include a delicious lunch and glass of wine.
This is a daytime workshop, starting at 10.30am and finishing at 3.30pm. As always spaces are limited so do book early!
Location: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT
