Talk: the herbal home first aid kit!

What traditional herbal first aid remedies and herbs should you include in your home medicine chest? At our evening talk you will learn about a range of herbs, many of which have traditionally been used to treat a wide variety of ailments – and which can be used as an alternative to over-the-counter pharmaceutical preparations.
The talk is led by Julia Behrens, a practising Medical Herbalist for over 10 years, with a degree in Herbal Medicine and a Diploma in therapeutic massage. Julia has published work in the European Journal of Herbal Medicine, and for the WWF and Plantlife magazine.
As well as practising in Brighton, Julia runs short courses in herbal medicine and has also set up a community herb garden ‘Hedgehog Herbs’ www.herbal-consultant.com
Cost: £20 – to include a glass of wine and nibbles.
This is an evening talk starting at 7.30pm, finishing at 9pm. Spaces are limited so please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
