Garden House trip to Dorset & Somerset

We are delighted to have finalised our summer trip to Dorset and Somerset and hope you can join us for another Garden House adventure! As always our focus is on the most fabulous gardens, together with great food and good company. We are leaving in the morning by coach, (using Regency coaches as usual), on Wednesday June 20th, and returning early evening on Saturday, June 23rd.

Our itinerary includes:

• 3 nights bed and breakfast in Eastbury Hotel, in the centre of Sherbourne, relax@theeastburyhotel.co.uk
• Propagation workshop, plus a walk and talk with plantswoman Derry Watkins, at her specialist plant nursery and garden, Cold Ashton www.specialplants.net
• Visit to the Piet Oudolf field at Hauser and Wirth gallery, Bruton www.hauserwirthsomerset.com (see picture above)
• Talk and workshop with Charles Dowding, the “no dig” vegetable guru, in his organic garden, Shepton Mallet www.charlesdowding.co.uk
• A Garden House mystery-private-garden visit, and a morning visit to a local National Trust garden
• Wine tasting evening in an award winning country inn
• Returning via Lower Severalls garden and nursery www.lowerseverallsfarmhouse.co.uk
• One free evening in Sherbourne

Room/Cost: Price includes the above, plus all meals except one lunch, and supper in Sherbourne.
The Eastbury has a variety of rooms and prices, so for the trip sharing a standard double/twin is £799 per person, sharing a superior double is £845 per person, having a single room is £820 per person, and have a double room with single occupancy is £910. All the rooms are en suite. Do have a look on their website. We have reserved rooms but would like to know as soon as possible what type of room you would like so we can book that for you.

Contact us as soon as possible if you are interested. We will then ask you for a deposit of £150 per person, which is non-refundable, (so you need to take out your own insurance for cancellation), to secure your place.
