The Garden House visited Japan earlier this year in April 2019. It was a particularly beautiful time to visit, especially seeing the Japanese cherry trees – Sakura – in full blossom!
We have rather fallen in love with Japan, its temples, shrines, gardens, customs, food, art and people – and so have decided to go again next year from 3 -16 April 2020. This will be out fourth trip and we would love you to join us.
We will fly direct from Heathrow to Osaka, and then back from Narita (Tokyo) to Heathrow direct. Our guide Makoto, has agreed to guide us again – he made it all such fun and really helped us to understand and share in the Japanese culture and customs
The trip will include many key gardens and temples – plus sushi-making, a tea ceremony, introduction to Ikebana, and other fascinating and fun cultural experiences! Transport by coach and bullet train is included, and we will have an English-speaking guide throughout.
At this stage we are just asking you to simply register your interest with no commitment required – just to see if we have enough people to make the planning of the trip viable.
Please email us if you are thinking about visiting this extraordinary country with its many delights, and to experience its culture and customs.
The cost will be in the region of £5,500 and will include flights, hotels, an English-speaking guide, as well as entrance to gardens, and other cultural experiences including a sushi-making session and an Ikebana experience. Also included are the bullet trains and a luxurious coach to take us to all the destinations. The price includes breakfasts, and some meals.
Now, doesn’t that sound exciting – if you’d like to express interest, do contact us on 07729 037182 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
