The Watercolour Garden: 1-day workshop

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Wednesday 17th November

As Seana Mallen’s summer 2021 workshop was so enjoyable, we have invited her to return to the Garden House for a one-day watercolour painting workshop this autumn…

Seana Mallen is a Brighton-based artist and teacher who loves to see her students grow and thrive. She has over 30yrs experience inspiring and nurturing every budding artist’s creative voice with sensitivity, humour, and a great sense of fun.

Seana brings a fresh and spontaneous approach to painting that supports terrified beginners and more seasoned painters alike!  This will not be about botanical painting, but rather capturing the spirit of the garden.

Inspired by late autumn’s plants, trees and colour, Seana will explore the brilliant spectrum of watercolour painting through a variety of experimental techniques that are fun, easy, and astonishingly effective.

Enjoy a day playing with paint, learn new tricks and ‘trade secrets’ for painting flowers and trees, enjoy our unique garden, coffee and cake and a delicious lunch, and have a lovely day – you’ll be amazed by what you can achieve!

Cost: £90 – to include a delicious vegetarian lunch and refreshments

Places are limited to six, so do contact us as soon as possible.

Date: Wednesday 17 November / 10am – 4pm

BOOK ONLINE –  if you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

Venue: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT
