Kantha inspired Sit-and-Sew

Join our two charity stitching sessions on Saturday 25 November, in aid of Maternity Worldwide – Saving Lives in Childbirth.

Quilt designer Elizabeth Betts will be tutoring each session set in the peaceful surroundings of The Garden House, Brighton. She will show you Kantha stitch, a type of simple embroidery typical of eastern Asia. Come to learn and walk away with your creation!

Sessions: 10am to 1pm, and 2pm to 5pm. Cost per session is £20 minimum donation, which includes materials, refreshments and homemade cake.
