Join watercolour artist Kate Osborne and be inspired by the glorious late summer garden at the Garden House! Kate works very freely in watercolour, with the minimum of compositional drawing, giving her paintings an unpremeditated look to express the beautiful but transitory nature of the subject matter.
Using a variety of media, including watercolour, gouache, and pen and ink, we will create some wonderfully expressive, colourful, figurative and semi abstract work. Working in your sketchbooks, as stand alone work, or to use as inspiration for further paintings.
There will be some materials available to buy (bamboo pens, acrylic ink and some sketchbooks) but please bring your watercolours, brushes, and any sketchbooks you’d like to use with you.
Cost: £125 to include lunch, cake and refreshments.
