Enjoy a quiet January afternoon of slow-stitching at the Garden House. Join stitch tutor Marilyn Willis for our afternoon workshop learning to repair or mend a garment using a range of stitch techniques which can be used as a decorative effect to embellish or visibly repair a garment depending on thread colours and types of threads used.
Bring along a garment you would like to work on. Marilyn will have a selection of threads, but if you have some you’d like to use please bring them along too! Marilyn will advise you on the day, but the best fabrics to repair or embellish are natural fibres ie cotton, linen or wool.
