Working in our teaching garden, improve your gardening knowledge, skills, and gain the confidence to plan, propagate, prune and much more.  This course is designed for those new to gardening – learn the basics, have fun and be inspired in a friendly and informal environment.

  • How to grow good plants, and to grow your own food

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions!

This is a hands-on course and we will be spending much of our time outside, depending on the weather.  We will also work in the Garden Room, under the Shelter, and in the Potting Shed and Greenhouse.

Dates: Wednesday mornings: 9, 16 and 23 February, then 2, 9 and 16 March  / 10am – 1pm

PLEASE BOOK ONLINE. If you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

Location: The Garden House, 5 Warleigh Road, Brighton BN1 4NT

**COVID update:  As the Garden House studio is a relatively small space and for the safety of all, we have reduced the number of participants in our workshops.  We would also prefer participants to have had double/triple vaccinations, or to have taken a Lateral Flow Test before joining the group (we have some available if needed).  Thank you for your understanding.
