Special Outing: Pelham Plants & Nettlewood Flowers

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Monday 3rd October

Join us for this exciting new day out/workshop incorporating so many of the things we love!

We will meet at Pelham Plants, Laughton, East Sussex (featured in this September’s Garden’s Illustrated magazine)  to look at and discuss perennials that are grown for their cutting value, plus owner Paul Seaborne will give a talk on how to grow and care for the plants.

Here we will enjoy a delicious home made lunch, before driving to nearby Nettlewood Flowers.

At Nettlewood  we have been invited to look around owner Sarah Whiting’s cutting garden, chatting with Sarah as she tells us about her flower arranging ethos, her methods and the plants used.  This will be followed by a floral bouquet demonstration with Sarah, and time for participants to create their own arrangement made from flowers gathered from both venues.

This promises to be a truly gorgeous day of learning and doing – how best to grow, cut and arrange flowers in a naturalistic way.

Date: Monday 3 October / 10am to 4.30pm

Cost: £125 per person – refreshments included, and your flower arrangement to take home

BOOK ONLINE –  if you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

Independent travel: we will meet at Pelham Plants at 10am, the addresses will be supplied after booking and nearer the time.

**COVID update:  As the Garden House studio is a relatively small space and for the safety of all, we have reduced the number of participants in our workshops.  We would also prefer participants to have had double/triple vaccinations, or to have taken a Lateral Flow Test before joining the group (we have some available if needed).  Thank you for your understanding.
