We are delighted to offer a magical trip to Ireland, staying in Dublin and travelling to County Clare, visiting some very special, hand-picked, gardens. We are travelling on Wednesday June 26th and returning one week later, flying from Gatwick.
Our aim has been to put together an extra special itinerary, based on personal visits, trusted recommendations and detailed research. We are staying in two fabulous hotels, The Aisling Hotel Dublin, and the Old Ground, Ennis, and will be visiting some spectacular private gardens, (by coach). In the Wicklow mountains, gardens including Huntingbrook (Jimi Blake’s garden), Patthana, June Blake’s garden, plus others in County Clare. We will also visit the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Most of our visits will be guided, by head gardeners or owners.
Apart from our love of plants and gardens, we enjoy the sharing of food and are spending one evening at the Dublin Cookery School preparing a meal to eat together.
For sharing a room, for seven nights bed and breakfast the cost is £2,200 per person and for a single occupancy of a double room the cost is £2,700 per person. This cost includes return flights, accommodation, coach, garden entrance fees/refreshments and tours, our evening at the cookery school, plus several lunches and suppers.
