A Year in the Garden: SPRING Course

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Tuesday 10th March

Are you looking to increase your gardening skills and knowledge and be more creative within your own space?  Then this practical gardening course is for you!

Each season we will be running a series of six sessions, starting with SPRING.

The aim is to give you ideas to revitalise your own gardens; to find out about new and exciting planting ideas; as well as experimenting with dynamic ways to use seasonal flowers and plants.

During our SPRING focus the themes running through the course will include:

  • design, grow for and plant up spectacular containers
  • plan a cutting garden, plus choosing and growing suitable plants
  • grow your own vegetables, looking at new cultivars
  • create a herb bed or container, suitable for your own garden
  • choose and display indoor plants
  • plant identifications
  • seasonal management of borders, with hands-on working in the garden

The sessions will take place at the Garden House, where we practise organic principles within a framework of sustainability.

We will encourage participants to bring images of their own gardens to share with the group, as the course will give you transferable skills and ideas for your own garden.

Cost: £285 – includes refreshments
