Join lecturer in floristry, Arete Richards, for this 3-session workshop – a wonderful opportunity to indulge your inner florist by learning the art of floral design.
Taking inspiration from nature – colour, texture, form and fragrance will all play a role in creating memorable designs that you will take home.
Over the three sessions you will learn the fundamentals of how to choose, condition and care for your flowers. The designs you create will be assembled using traditional floristry techniques, yet inspired by contemporary styles with a natural and seasonal finish.
We will also look at current trends and discuss factors influencing the floristry industry.
