Lino Cut Printmaking Workshop

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Tuesday 18th February

Join Brighton-based print maker Amy Douglas and learn how to create and print using the lino cut method based on your own design.

Ideas for seed packets, bottle and jam jar labels, greetings cards – there are endless possibilities!  Amy will demonstrate how to cut a design into lino and print using the chine-collé technique to bring colour into your prints.

All printmaking is tabletop, so no press is needed and this is something you will be able to continue at home on your kitchen table.

Materials and tools will be provided.

Amy is an artist and restorer working in ceramics and relief printmaking.  She trained at the City & Guilds of London Art School in the Decorative Arts and has an MA in printmaking from Camberwell College of Art.  She exhibits regularly in the UK and New York and runs various workshops in and around Brighton – www.amymdouglas.co.uk

Cost: £85 per person – to include lunch and refreshments
