Master Class: Growing Vegetables

Thursday 30th April

Learn some of the key lessons for planning, creating and maintaining your own vegetable patch.  With a mix of hands-on practical demonstrations and classroom-based theory, the day will include topics such as: site and soil preparation, crop selection and rotation, sowing and planting out, crop protection, and how to manage pests among the veg.

For the last five years Max Crisfield has been the kitchen gardener at Parham House and Gardens, where he has looked after an acre of potager-style veg parterres and cut flower borders. He will soon be joining a new team at a prestigious private garden in West Sussex.

Cost: £125 – to include a delicious vegetarian lunch and refreshments

Date: Thursday 30 April – 10am to 4.30pm.  Places are limited so do contact us as soon as possible.
