Pruning with the Experts at Architectural Plants

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Thursday 16th April

Join us for an exclusive Garden House workshop at Architectural Plants.

The day will start at the ‘original’ home of Architectural Plants in Nuthurst (nr Horsham) RH13 6LH where we’ll be working in the garden on established plants.

Guy Watts, the Managing Director, will share some horticultural tricks of the trade with us. This creative maintenance pruning course is suited to those who have a bit more experience or are already working in the industry.

We will learn how to strip Trachycarpus, raise Bamboo, clip Cupressus, use a blowtorch to manicure Cordylines (!), and the delicate art of Niwaki pruning – and so much more.

There will be plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty and give everything a go under expert guidance and tuition, and you’ll leave with a host of new skills to try out in your own garden or take back to work with you.

Later in the afternoon, there’ll be time to drive to the amazing ‘main’ Architectural Plants nursery, in Pulborough RH20 1DJ – where on the day they are offering us 10% off plants and tools.  Here the range of plants is vast, so you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Cost: £165 – includes a slap-up lunch, complete with wine!

BOOK ONLINE. If you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying. Limited to 10 participants, so do book soon!

Date:  Thursday 16 April 2020 – 10am – 4pm (arriving by 10.00 please).  **Please make your own way to Architectural Plants, Nuthurst (nr Horsham) RH13 6LH – arriving just before 10am.  There is a car park on site.
