Summer Garden Visits

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Wednesday 14th July | 10:30am - 4:00pm

The Old Vicarage in Washington, and Sandhill Farm House Garden, near Petersfield, West Sussex.

Knowing how much we all love to visit and be inspired by other people’s gardens, we have been busy in lockdown arranging some exciting private garden visits – a real treat for a summer’s day out!

The Old Vicarage in Washington is a garden of enormous variety, with its more formal front garden laid out with topiary, a wide lawn and mixed border with a contemporary water sculpture, and the rear with new and mature trees, herbaceous borders and stunning views of the Downs.

We will enjoy coffee and cake on arrival, and lunch before driving to our next garden.

Sandhill Farm House Garden, near Petersfield. Here, the owner, Rosemary Alexander has created a truly beautiful garden.  Rosemary is an author, principal of The English Gardening School and a renowned gardener. Her garden is broken up into ‘rooms’ including a small kitchen garden, a woodland area, a white garden and a large leaf border, plus much more.

Cost: £60 per person – includes a delicious lunch and refreshments.

BOOK ONLINE. If you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

Dates:  Wednesday 14 July 2021 / 10.30am to 4pm

Venue: Independent travel: we will meet at the first garden at 10.30am, and the address will be supplied after booking and nearer the time.
