The Watercolour Garden: 1-day workshop

* THIS EVENT HAS NOW FINISHED *

Monday 22nd November

One-day watercolour painting workshop with Brighton-based artist and teacher Seana Mallen. For painters who have already scratched the surface of the garden of watercolour delights, it’s time to dig a little deeper!

Inspired by late autumn’s plants, trees and colour, Seana will explore the brilliant spectrum of watercolour painting through a variety of experimental techniques that are fun, easy, and astonishingly effective.

The workshop will not be about botanical illustration, rather about capturing the radiant spirit of the garden, opening the door to your own expression and creativity. Play with inks and paints, learn to control a nuanced brushstroke to create leaves and petals in a single beautiful stroke, mix gorgeous colour, and get big and bold!

Seana has over 30yrs experience inspiring and nurturing every budding artist’s creative voice with sensitivity, humour, and a great sense of fun.

Cost: £90 – to include a delicious vegetarian lunch and refreshments

Places are limited to six, so do contact us as soon as possible.

Date: Monday 22 November / 10am – 4pm

BOOK ONLINE –  if you are unable to pay online, please contact us to find out about alternative ways of paying.

**COVID update:  As the Garden House studio is a relatively small space and for the safety of all, we have reduced the number of participants in our workshops.  We would also prefer participants to have had double/triple vaccinations, or to have taken a Lateral Flow Test before joining the group (we have some available if needed).  Thank you for your understanding.
