In 2014 we visited the glorious Winter Garden at Anglesey Abbey and were bowled over by its extraordinary beauty – so we have decided on a return visit.
This exquisite garden boasts colour, scent and structure – winter bark, shrubs, hellebores, early bulbs as well as drifts of Anglesey’s famous Snowdrops (if you wish, book online for a free 1.5hr walking tour – SnowDrops: The Specialist Collection).
We will travel by coach to Cambridgeshire, leaving The Garden House, Brighton at 8am, and enjoying refreshments on the coach, before arriving at the gardens at approx. 11am.
Lunch will be available in the Anglesey Abbey Cafe, and there’s a shop for any inspiring plant purchases! We will return to Brighton leaving the gardens at approx. 3.15pm
Cost: £63 per person – PLUS entrance fee £15, payable on the day if you are NOT an RHS or National Trust member.
Date: Monday 24 January, 8am returning at approx. 6.30pm.
