Inspirational Hove garden, open for NGS

This weekend one of our favourite local gardens is opening for the NGS (National Garden Scheme).  Garden House friend Barbara is opening her gates on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, so if youre ready for an inspirational burst of colour and creativity, do pop along.

Barbaras garden is a mix of contemporary and traditional.  Its on four levels (typical of Brighton and Hove gardens), but unlike many local gardens where the challenge is a chalky soil, her north-west facing garden is on clay.  The garden was designed and landscaped in 2007, and is now well established it was even featured in The English Garden magazine (April 2012) with photos taken by Clive Nichols.

Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 May (11am-5pm). Entrance £3.00 (kids free). Home-made teas. Free street parking. Dogs welcome. Plants for sale.
